In light of the COVID-19 situation, we regretfully advise that because of the latest announcements of further restrictions implemented by the Australian Government on 23 March 2020, effective immediately all ‘ All Wheel Drive Club’ Trips, Activities and Events are postponed.
I am sure this is disappointing news, however the AWDC of Sydney must act responsibly in support of the Government's directive in order to ensure that we safeguard the health and well-being, not only of club members, but of their families and all Australians.
Wishing you and your families all the best. Stay safe.
About our Club
The All Wheel Drive Club is a friendly and family-oriented club based in the Northern Sydney area of NSW. We welcome 4x4 drivers of all tastes, from touring to difficult technical tracks, and all types of 4x4 vehicles.
Formed in the early 80's by a group of dedicated and keen four wheel drivers, the club has grown to one of the most respected in the Sydney area.
Offering a wealth of advice from over three hundred experienced members, we can offer everything from an extensive driver training program to Club discounts at a variety of camping and 4WD outletsThe Club generally conducts two to three trips each month to various 4WD and camping destinations and offers trips for all grades of driving. For ease of communications and safety, we ensure that everyone attending has a UHF radio (Channel 15) on board.
As a club, we strongly support "Tread Lightly" ideals and consciously endeavour to make as minimal an impact as possible on the terrain we travel through.
Prospective members are made welcome at club meetings, but cannot come on 4WD trips until they have completed driver training, included in the first year's membership fees.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and are funded by membership fees and sponsorship.
The All Wheel Drive Club is a member of Four Wheel Drive NSW & ACT.
