Behind Ulladulla... 20-21 Nov

Saturday:

Should be a good mix of 4x4 tracks, narrow bush roads and major forest roads. Some of it is seriously hilly (optional) and has beautiful bush and geological features with lots of spectacular views. 

Outline approx route:

Croobyar Rd, Woodstock Rd, Woodburn Rd, Clyde Ridge Rd, Mares Hill Rd, Bronco Rd (4x4), Penders Hill Ftl (4x4), Lunch at Mogood Lookout, Cattlemans Ftl (4x4), Bimberamala Ftl (4x4), Western Distributor Rd (rally), Long Gully Rd (rally). 

Camping and accommodation:

Overnight campsite in Long Gully have drop toilets, but take everything else just in case. Fires currently allowed. Should be able to collect firewood in state forest, but please can everyone bring a little firewood with them just in case?

Notes:

Long Gully is in Budawang NP and has to be booked individually. Could have camped at Yadboro Flat, which is in Yadboro State Forest. Other camping option is Blue Gum Flat, also in Yadboro SF. Might have a look for future reference. 

Sunday:

Western Distributor Rd, Yadboro Rd, down to Flat Rock and Brooman SF to explore various tracks (lots of options) around middle ridge, find somewhere for lunch. After lunch will head back north towards Monkey Mountain Rd and Woodburn Rd.
