    What

This is a call for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ONLY at this stage for a club trip to Namibia, Botswana,
Zimbabwe in May/June 2021.  It will be a fully escorted and guided trip with Self Drive Adventures, and will be a rerun of the club trips of 2014/2015 to these fabulous areas.  Duration will be approx 31 days.  Starting in Windhoek Namibia, the trip winds through the wetlands of Botswana's Okavango Delta taking in the national parks of Moremi, Chobe, Etosha transiting through Namibia's northern Caprivi Strip for a short excursion to Zimbabwe and the famous Victoria Falls before heading West through the canyons, deserts and badlands of Namibia before encountering the Skeleton Coast and the windswept Atlantic Ocean, and returning via the German influenced town of Swakopmund to Windhoek.
Expect to see more big game than you could possibly imagine, and up close, really close.  No really really close !  Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, ostriches, water buffalo, more antelopes than you can name, hyenas, jackals, maybe a leopard or two, plus birds galore.  Plus cultural experiences with the San people of the Kalahari desert, Himba tribespeople and other highlights.  The majority of the trip will be bush camping and self catering, although a few lodges and hotels along the way add variety and the chance for a welcome shower.

    Meet

Windhoek Namibia ( 2 hours flight from Johannesburg South Africa)

    GPS coordinates or Grid ref

    -22.560881, 17.065755

This is a call for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ONLY.  It's nearly two years away, so there is plenty of time to plan, but expect to put down a deposit early in 2020 to secure a spot as these trips do book out.  Due to the abundance of wildlife and the fact that we are bush camping in some spots in game areas, any kids must be aged 14 or over.
