The event will be a ride along in the same manner as the Ronald McDonald and Bear Cottage trips, Camp will be at Paul Thomason's property just outside Turon NP. If wet there is a large shed full of toys to admire. Other than a BBQ on Saturday night, food and drinks will be BYO. Camping equipment will be BYO AWDC wise it is just a normal club trip but with a passenger. Next to camp is the Turon River, Rydal, Baal Bone and Mt Airlie diamond mine. S-Blokes with their own 4WD vehicles will not be able to drive on the event as they have not gone through driver induction after joining the club. Route: From Cotter Dam pass near Brindabellas onto Long Plain Rd and camp somewhere. On Saturday visit huts on Long Plain. Either camp again on Long Plain or make way to Goobarragandra Road and camp there. On Sunday make way down towards Goobarragandra and Tumut. Depending how we are going either camp near Tumut, or on the road to Wee Jasper. On Monday either exit early at Tumut, or midday at Yass. Overall I intend to go at a leisurely pace and not do any car damage!

NOTE: The current ferries have a shortage of spaces for vehicles and/or vans over 2.1m to meet the demand for this period. The new and larger ferries are scheduled to replace the existing ferries in October. The new ferries do come with larger capacity for all vehicles over 2.1m high but due to the hype of the newer vessels demand maybe greater also. Bookings for January start at the end of the month so with that in mind it is proposed to hold a meeting end of Jan or early Feb with all those people that are interested in the trip.
Waitlisted but please still register your interest
